We, the St. Anthony of Padua Church, participate in the mission of the Diocese of Honolulu of Christ to the world. We are a community of faith that lives and promotes a vibrant family spirit in the Marianist tradition, Catholic spirituality and service to the people of God on Maui.
St. Anthony of Padua Church in Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii was established by the Fathers of the Order of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, whose arrival from France on July 7, 1827, marked the start of the Catholic Mission in Hawaii.
Today, as we enter the 21st century, the Marianist spirit and influence is alive in our growing and diverse parish of over 900 families. The parish, along with its many ministries, includes a Preschool, Grade School and Cemetery. We also have on our beautiful campus, the only Catholic High School on Maui. We pray that the Lord continues to bless our tranquil island, church and the people who come to worship here.
